» Dimming Glass for Bathrooms

Laminated Dimming Glass switches between transparent and opaque by controlling the molecular arrangement of the liquid crystal film in the middle by controlling an electric current. Its core Technology is PDLC.

🧩 Core Structure and Principle
Laminated Dimming Glass consists of two layers of Glass sandwiched between a liquid crystal film (PDLC). The transparency of the film is controlled by an electric current:

When power is off: the liquid crystal molecules are arranged in a disordered manner, scattering light, and the glass appears opaque (foggy).
When power is applied: the electric field causes the liquid crystal molecules to align neatly, allowing light to pass through, and the glass becomes transparent.

Current control is the key: turning on and off the current → the arrangement of liquid crystal molecules changes → the light transmittance changes → the transparency of the glass switches. This technology combines privacy protection and light transmittance adjustment functions, and is suitable for scenes with humidity (such as bathrooms) and where flexible space is required.
