Smart Glass consists of two layers of Glass sandwiched between a liquid crystal Film. The transparency of the Glass is controlled by controlling the arrangement of the liquid crystal molecules:
Off: The liquid crystal molecules are scattered in a disordered manner, preventing light from passing through, resulting in a milky, hazy appearance.
On: The liquid crystal molecules are aligned neatly, allowing light to pass through, resulting in a transparent Glass.
The circuit is simple and can be integrated into smart home and building systems. Complex control requires the installation of a power module.
